From the time that I was in school, washing cars and mowing lawns to make money, I knew I wanted to do my own thing and be an entrepreneur. Later, when I was running an outsourcing company, I noticed that many of my hard-working staff were unable to gain access to financial services. I founded Lenddo with the vision of improving credit access for at least a billion people in developing countries. And, in 2017, we’ve helped more than 2 million people access financial services and improve their lives.

With Endeavor, thinking big became much much BIGGER, and fast. We’ve learned to be proactive, to seek and be open to honest feedback, to ask for help, and to challenge our assumptions, then challenge again.

To me, having an impact means being able to have a huge positive effect on peoples’ lives at scale. My personal vision is built around caring and sharing. With Lenddo, we have provided amazing life-changing opportunities for many of our employees to learn and grow, and, as one of the first Fintech companies in the Philippines, we’ve encouraged more people to become entrepreneurs themselves and create new companies.
