What drew me to Endeavor was the smart and sustainable development solutions that Endeavor bases its mission on, which is supporting high-impact entrepreneurs. I stay because I’m exposed to amazing people and great knowledge, and I witness the impact we make on entrepreneurs, which always motivates me to stay.
I was hooked from the first International Selection Panel I attended in Madrid. I was managing an Account named Gourmet Egypt, and it was a key account that the local office was trying to allocate for sometime. The entrepreneurs were older than the average, at 52 and 55. I was so worried that I would disappoint both the entrepreneurs and my office. During deliberations, I was starstruck by a panelist, Monica Mandelli, as she fought for Gourmet, seeing its value as we would in the local context. And when they passed, and everyone in the room clapped, that was one of my favorite moments.
Working at Endeavor has been the best learning experience of my life. It is like I’m doing an MBA; I am exposed to real-life business case studies, and facilitate the meetings where the experts are giving entrepreneurs the solutions. Additionally, there’s a great global networking aspect, which always makes me learn more about different economies, cultures and people. Being a part of the Endeavor network means having access to great knowledge and stellar connections, and the strongest online network for knowledge sharing.
