When Endeavor initially approached my company Dscaff Engineering and explained the organization’s philosophy, we were skeptical. But we found the persistence and energy of the Endeavor staff to be convincing. Today we stay involved both because we believed in the values of the organization and because Endeavor has helped us in critical areas we are weak or inexperienced, thereby preventing us from making costly mistakes with our growth plan. Just knowing Endeavor is available in the background has given me great confidence to take on bigger challenges.
Resources like the EY Vantage program have assisted us significantly in rationalizing our operating systems. The experience of witnessing other companies’ local selection panel interviews and deliberations has also given us great insight and assisted us in making better, more informed dissensions. Through Endeavor, we’ve experienced the value of having mentors who can recognize that we are on the right track, and, in turn, it is equally rewarding to then be able to give back by mentoring new candidates and helping them through the selection process. I hope that Endeavor can gradually expand into more countries and continue to mentor more entrepreneurs around the world.
